Gibsons, the renowned family-owned puzzle and games company, is bring joy to the market in 2024 with an exciting array of product launches. The all-new designs will be available to view and order at London Toy Fair, stand E15.
Kicking off 2024 in style, Gibsons bring their Jokesaws range; comedically-themed puzzles with cheeky designs from talented artists like Andy Tudor, Phil Dobson and Gerald Como. The colourful 1000-piece puzzles are jampacked with hidden gems and jokes and are sure to bring with them a host of grins and giggles. New designs and artists will be added to the range later in the year, so expect more mayhem and madness coming soon.
Meanwhile, the iconic Gibsons puzzle packaging has undergone a modern refresh for 2024. The new design has been adopted in response to customer feedback and includes new features like 1:1 puzzle piece graphics alongside imperial and metric measurements. It’s crisp, fresh, and expertly designed to imprint Gibsons onto the imaginations of consumers far and wide.
Additionally, the company has been revamping their XL puzzle range. These products feature extra-large pieces for puzzlers who have visual, motor, or cognitive impairments. Gibsons have added several new puzzles to the XL line – part of their dedication to inclusivity and positive social impact.
Gibsons have partnered with world-renowned aviation artist Matthew Emeny and Help for Heroes to launch the Portsmouth Flypast jigsaw. 6th June 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the largest naval, air and land operation in history which departed from Portsmouth in 1944. Gibsons are commemorating the bravery and sacrifice of those who took part in the D-Day landings with the puzzle and are donating 7% of the selling price to Help for Heroes, registered charity number 1120920.
And finally, B Corp. Becoming a B Corp certified company has been a key focus for Gibsons and is only awarded to company’s who use their business as a force for good. Gibsons are delighted to announce they have achieved this award and are now proudly part of the B Corp family.
Gibsons has taken a number of steps to demonstrate its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, such as:
- launching special edition jigsaw puzzles where a percentage of profits are donated to charities, such as Great Ormond Street Hospital and in 2024 Help for Heroes
- Localising their manufacturing, by moving away from production in China and working with factories based in the EU and UK
- Installing solar panels in their office and recycling 85% of their waste
