of Chick Corea's Crystal Silence. This chime showcases a unique and beautiful feature called €œoctave doubling.€' Each note in the chime is duplicated one octave higher. When two notes are one octave apart, they are considered harmonically equivalent and "ring" together in a way that adds a pleasing sound to the music.
