Tell us about Lesser & Pavey

Lesser & Pavey Ltd. first opened in Hatton Garden, London in January 1971. It was established by Ronnie Pavey, his father Ron Pavey and Herbert Lesser. In the early days Lesser & Pavey were predominantly an importer of China & Glass, we’ve become a leading UK Trade Supplier of all Giftware and Homewares. We still have the same values as on day one and we pride ourselves on fantastic quality at great value for money.

What products are Lesser & Pavey best known for?

At Lesser and Pavey we have always tried to keep up with current trends and attract new customers, whilst also keeping our signature brand “The Leonardo Collection” and its popular ranges available for our loyal customers. We’ve been very well known for cold cast resin figurines, porcelain dolls, fine china and decorative glassware. Today I would say we are most well-known for our full complement of tableware and gift ranges, within “The Leonardo Collection” brand.

In the past 10 years some of the most popular ranges, that our customers love and keep returning for feature artwork from some of our licensing partners including The Macneil Studio, Jennifer Rose and Bug Art Kooks. William Morris designs have also been hugely popular and continue grow in popularity. Traditionally animals and dogs, and now highland cows are amongst the most popular, as well as cuter bears, dogs, cows and even astronauts. Even highly decorated graffiti!

We also continue to grow our Desire range of home fragrance, not only with new products but also with fresh and bespoke fragrances and innovative gift packaging - who doesn’t love a beautifully scented soy candle or diffuser? New additions include more 500ml and 1 litre Reed Diffusers which are proving to be very popular since their initial launch last Autumn.

It has always been important to us at Lesser and Pavey to build, grow and maintain long lasting relationships with customers and with suppliers and factories. We’ve been buying from some of the same factories for over 30 years, maintaining the same quality we’re renowned for.

Do you have any upcoming product launches that you will be showcasing at Autumn Fair?

As our company continues to increase its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint as well as eliminating the use of plastics wherever possible, we’re introducing products made 100% out of recycled materials.  We have two notable new collections: our Cute ‘n’ Soft RPET Pals – a collection of supersoft plush toys - and RPET Travel Mugs which we are introducing to replace the hugely popular bamboo-based Travel Mugs.

Why is Autumn Fair important to Lesser & Pavey?

Lesser & Pavey have exhibited at Autumn Fair every year since it started. For us, it’s a launch pad for new products and ranges for the coming year. It’s the perfect time for customers to buy their collections for next Spring. We’re launching new products at Autumn Fair and firmly believe there is more diversity and originality than before. We’ve exhibited at both Spring & Autumn Fair at the NEC in Birmingham every year and continue to do so as it helps us to meet existing clients and new customers.

Who do you look forward to meeting at Autumn Fair?

It’s an opportunity to meet both existing and new customers from all over the UK and the rest of the world. We always look forward to welcoming customers to our stand!
