What are you excited to see at Spring Fair 2024?

Spring Fair is bursting at the seams with fantastic businesses, ideas and entrepreneurs, and one of the things I’m looking forward to most at Spring Fair 2024 is experiencing the infectious passion that will be brimming throughout the exhibition.

 

Are there any positive shifts for the industry we can anticipate for 2024?

The cost-of-living crisis has meant that the previous year has been a bit of a rollercoaster for the retail industry, and many others, to say the least. But, with inflation starting to ease up, we can look forward to more people wanting to spend on some of the fantastic goods retailers have to offer.

 

You are speaking at 2:30 on Tuesday 6th on the Inspiring Retail stage, can you give us a sneak peek on what you plan to cover with our audience?

I always have a great chat at Spring Fair and this year will be no exception. The attendees consistently ask excellent questions and it’s an opportunity to talk frankly and openly about the retail sector, and in particular the opportunities and challenges that we all face - whether large or small!

 

Your Small Business Sunday winners are exhibiting at the show this year within the Gift section in Hall 4. Can you share some insights on these fantastic small businesses?  

#SBS Small Business Sunday has grown and grown since its launch 13 years ago - it’s now a teenager!  #SBS now has 4,000 of the UK’s mightiest small businesses in the network and they come in all shapes and sizes, but they all have a few things in common: grit, tenacity and bucket-loads of passion!  What’s not to love about that?

 

What do you look forward to seeing every year at Spring Fair?

Something I look forward to doing at every Spring Fair is taking a wander and seeing some of the latest products out there because nothing quite beats being able to see, touch and hear about a new product and interact with knowledgeable colleagues and business owners.
