Emer Gillespie is the Director and lead designer at Spark & Bell Lighting, a member of Making Design Circular, Brighton Loop, and on the Interior Design Declares steering group. Spark & Bell has always had a circular and sustainable approach to the design and manufacture of their lights, with their own in-house plastics recycling workshop, making materials for their lights from local plastic waste. Spark & Bell focuses on sourcing and supporting local makers and designers, has designed a comprehensive end-of-life and take-back scheme, and is B-Corp pending.
