Travelling to and from Spring Fair

By train:

From Birmingham International Railway Station, there is step-free access at the station and there is a bridge link which connects the station directly to the NEC.

By taxi:

If you’re arriving by taxi and have your Blue Badge with you, you will be able to be dropped off at the main entrances. If you also require a pickup, please advise the taxi firm that you have a Blue Badge and the taxi will be permitted to pick you up from the main entrances.

Getting to the NEC

By car:

To help you plan your Blue Badge Visitor Parking, the NEC have created a short film explaining what you can expect when you arrive onsite and what facilities are available.

Wheelchair access:

All levels of the NEC are accessible to wheelchair users, via lifts, and have wheelchair friendly toilet facilities. The Piazza and Atrium main entrances have automatic doors.

Mobility equipment hire:

Wheelchairs are available free of charge for Blue Badge holders and £5 for all other visitors. The number of wheelchairs that the NEC have available is limited, so if you’ve got your own, please bring it with you.

Scooters can be hired through the NEC directly, and cost £15 per hire. You can pre book this and it will be held until 11:00 on the day. If an exhibitor or visitor hasn’t pre-booked, scooters are offered out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Accessible toilets:

Accessible toilets are available across the venue. Changing Places also offer facilities near Hall 20, on the Atrium side of site and by Hall 2, on the Piazza side of site (both of these are accessible with a radar key).

The Changing Places facilities provide more space for up to 2 carers - and extra features to meet additional needs, including height adjustable adult-sized changing benches and a hoist system.

Assistance dogs:

Trained assistance and guide dogs are welcome but please be mindful that certain environments, where noise levels or attendance numbers are high, can be stressful or confusing for assistance dogs.

For the safety and wellbeing of your dog please make them visible to staff and other visitors at all times.
